Yahao Lai received his MM in West China Hospital of Sichuan University in China. He then became a MD candidate in West China Hospital of Sichuan University, where he performed orthopedic surgical procedures under supervision of Professor Zongke Zhou and began his research training. His research was focused on joint disease and on using 3D bioprinting and biomaterials in the engineering of bone and associated tissues.
