Zichuan Ding received his MD in the Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2018. He then became a PhD candidate in the West China Hospital, Sichuan university, under supervision of Professor Zhou Zongke. He joined the Luo's Lab in July 2022, focusing on microfluidics technologies and their application in the tissue engineering, especially in the field of musculoskeletal disorders.
